Fund&Grow is seeking an efficient Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties. You will facilitate daily HR functions like keeping track of employees records, supporting the interview process, and fielding basic benefit related questions.

The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. To succeed in this role, you should be familiar using HR software and tools. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results of the HR department and the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
  • Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
  • Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
  • Conducts audits of employee files, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
  • Assists with processing of terminations.
  • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
  • Assists with recruitment, interview process, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the Chief Personnel Officer.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
  • Prepares new-employee files.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years related experience in addition to requirement above preferred.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • SHRM-CP/PHR credential preferred.
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
