SUMMARY
Provide informational assistance and support to applicants, employees and the Human Resource Staff. Serves visitors and employees by greeting, welcoming, and directing them; notifying staff of visitor's arrival; providing information; maintaining databases.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry functions, such as transfers and wage changes in HRIS
  • Maintain personnel files by uploading data to HRIS
  • Create employee badges by photographing and assigning employee number
  • Manage and accurately handle inquiries from employees and applicants regarding a variety of HR issues
  • Answer telephone and give routine information to callers or route calls to the appropriate person(s)
  • Maintain welcoming environment by keeping reception area clean and secure
  • Provide support and assistance with the online employment application process
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and necessary employment paperwork
  • Maintain and distribute current employee information, policy and procedure manuals, and other communication when necessary
  • Run weekly reports
  • Assist in the administration of A-Testing
  • Track and create trainings in the Company's LMS
  • Assist with the Work Number and VOEs where required
  • Assist with distribution of employee termination checks, STD checks and 401(k) checks
  • Maintain the check log and all returned checks in the gray box; mail out checks within a week
  • Assist with various Human Resource projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • High level of customer service
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Typing speed of minimum 50 WPM
  • Telephone Skills, Verbal Communication, Professionalism, Customer Focus, Data Entry Skills, Flexibility, Written Communication
Experience and Education
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Office and/or HR experience
