Job Announcement
Position: HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR
Salary: $62,837 - $93,382
Under limited direction, oversee, coordinate and process HR employment actions, changes, reporting and updates in the HRIS system; assist with the performance management and compensation process, provide HR support to staff, supervisory and managerial personnel; maintain the agency weekly time and attendance system and do related work as required. - Works as a business partner with departments to process administrative documentation for human resources changes, including hiring, terminations, transfers, pay increases, bonuses, performance reviews, benefits, unemployment, payroll changes, COBRA, and other human resources actions;
- Manage the Human Resources Information system and the HR information portal, enters information and makes changes, update computerized HR records for all HR actions;
- Manages the ADP Time and Attendance system, corrects daily time card exceptions and errors, assists staff with password lockouts, and ensures compliance with the time and attendance policies;
- Creates and tracks performance plans and reviews and ensures complete processing of all employee feedback reviews and annual reviews;
- Creates HR monthly and annual reporting in the ADP system; analyzes HR data and creates reporting from data analytics for department operations;
- Assists Finance with payroll processing issues;
- Assists in managing the agency compensation plans, including annual benchmarking and marketing, job audits, adding new positions, and other plan adjustments;
- Keep Supervisor informed of issues, problems or concerns related to HR administrative work product;
- Manages the off-boarding, exit interviews, unemployment claims and the removal from payroll for all terminated employees;
- Maintains job descriptions and master classifications for all agency positions;
- Writes and maintains the HR computer software User Manual;
- Writes and maintains the HR administrative procedures manual and shared files;
- Performs other related duties.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSES:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field and three (3) years of HR administrative experience using the current version of ADP Workforce Now software.

Valid Tennessee Driver's license
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to deal courteously with the public and to resolve problem situations; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a team environment; ability to perform administrative work with accuracy and details, knowledge of organizational methods and practices; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, flexible with the ability to accept change.
Technical Skills:
Knowledgeable of MDHA HR administrative processing and procedures and the HR policy manual; competent experience with personal computers including word processing, database management and spreadsheets, expert knowledge and abilities using ADP Workforce Now; self directed, ability to make sound decisions and work in a confidential work environment; knowledge of all phases of work in Human Resources; ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
