JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for providing timely and accurate administrative support to the Human Resources Department. Primary job responsibilities generally fall into the following categories: 1) HR Data entry and record keeping, 2) Aid employees, applicants, and customers, 3) Prepare and maintain logs, reports and documents, 4) Maintain adequate supply of HR materials and forms.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong working knowledge of personal computing, including software products such as Windows, EXCEL, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and make responsible decisions.
- Ability to exercise discretion and high levels of confidentiality and personal integrity.
- Personal Qualities: Must be a “self-starter” and team player with a work ethic that can be described as “always looking for ways to improve people, processes and systems”.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately enters data into the HR Perspective computerized record keeping system as directed.
- Prepares, OSHA Log, Job Postings, and other routine HR documents according to established procedures or special instruction.
- Prepares and distributes a variety of reports regarding Applicant Flow, Employee Training, Employee Injuries and other information as directed.
- Helps Employment Applicants and requests from the public regarding the Application process or Employment Opportunities.
- Batches and tracks daily Employment Applications received.
- Ensures adequate quantities of Human Resources forms and materials.
- Assembles Orientation Materials and assists the HR Department in preparing new hires for employment.
- Processes and logs Worker’s Compensation, Fleet and General Liability Claims.
- Processes employee benefits enrollments, working with appropriate carriers in a timely manner.
- Understands company benefits and can answer routine benefit questions from employees.
- Prepares FedEx & certified mail items.
- Performs occasional clerical or administrative tasks for other management.
- Assists the HR Department with various projects or other duties as assigned.

$16.00-$18.00 Per Hour Depending on Experience
