POSITION: Human Resources Specialist
Wage: $21.50 hourly wage with a comprehensive benefits package
Schedule: FT Mon-Fri daytime hours. Opportunity to work from home 2 days a week after 3 months. Tuesdays and Wednesdays will be in the office and then employees may choose 2 days to work from home and 1 day in the office.

We are seeking a Human Resource Specialist to oversee the hiring process and enrollment functions within Human Resources for Morning Sun Financial Services and Orion ISO.
Morning Sun Financial Services and Orion ISO are financial management firms that provide the highest quality fiscal intermediary and administrative services. We provide participant-directed services for those with disabilities and the elderly in:
Alabama
Louisiana
Minnesota
Ohio
Utah
The result is outstanding customer service and a long track record of successful relationships with organizational clients as well as individuals with disabilities, the elderly and the families we serve.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Provide professional and timely customer service to variety of clients and their employees in multiple time zones.
  • Process new hire paperwork with great attention to detail.
  • Comply, maintain, and submit monthly reporting requirements in various programs.
  • Work closely with payroll and billing departments to issue client program approval.
  • Administer and communicate hire dates for all approved employees.
  • Maintain multi-department workflows within the electronic storage platform, M-Files.
  • Conduct accurate employment verification when received.
  • Assist in quarterly and/or yearly audits of employee enrollment paperwork.
  • Track employee certification requirements specific to each program.
  • Support the overall operations of the Human Resources Department.
Job Requirements:
  • College degree is preferred
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written skills)
  • Intermediate Microsoft skills, including Excel
  • Outstanding customer service standards and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Successful clearance from a DHS background study
