Ramapo Communication Corp. is looking for a dedicated, energetic, and passionate Human Resource Manager to join our team! The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for the daily management of HR activities, primarily managing the administration of company programs, policies, and procedures. The HR Manager will attend regular meetings with supervisors and managerial teams to emphasize on core values along with addressing company needs. The HR Manager is responsible for developing recruitment strategies, implementing systems for managing staff benefits, payroll, and onboarding of new employees.

Supervisor: The Human Resources (HR) Manager reports to the CEO, President, and CFO.

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in human resources
  • Bachelor s degree in human resources, business, or a related field

Job Duties:

Employee Development & Training

  • Define trending or recurring issues and develop solutions and training programs to mitigate those issues
  • Develop and execute talent improvement programs and systems
  • Counsel management on addressing employee performance and relations issues
  • Administer employee performance evaluations along with direct employee supervisors to help encourage and designate new employee milestones.

Recruiting

  • Works with management teams to identify staff vacancies and recruits, interviews, and selects the most qualified candidates
  • Responsible for developing and conducting an efficient and effective onboarding experience to foster alignment with organizational objectives
  • Administers and verifies employee onboarding documentation for proper processing
  • Create and promote new job listings by utilizing Arcoro software, as well as social media platforms

Culture Building

  • Develop, coordinate, and schedule company events & meetings to help promote a team-oriented environment
  • Serve as a liaison between management and employees by handling questions and assisting to solve work related issues
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of a dynamic and positive work environment by keeping staff aligned with core values

Human Resource Management

  • Increase company profitability through monitoring key performance indicators and identifying deficiencies within internal operations
  • Assist in the coordination and strategic development of new company policies
  • Enforce company processes and procedures in accordance with company handbook
  • Administers all company benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurances, 401(k) to eligible employees
  • Works with the CFO to determine and update pay scale
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions
