Lum's Auto Center, Lum's Buick GMC, and Walla Walla Toyota is looking for a Human Resource Manager to support all 3 locations. The ideal candidate acts as an employee champion and a leader of change and can office out of either of the 3 dealerships - Lum's Auto Center in Warrenton, OR (near Astoria, OR); Lum's Buick GMC in McMinnville; or Walla Walla Toyota in Walla Walla, WA. The HR Manager plans, develops, organizes, implements, directs and evaluates the organization's human resource function and performance. As the HR Manager, you are responsible for any planning regarding the human resources and development of a company’s workforce, and they must be able to transform all policies into executable plans and departmental procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and guidance by overseeing talent acquisition, employee career development, succession planning, retention programs, training and leadership development
• Function as a strategic, human capital business advisor to the senior management team
• Develop initiatives, policies and programs to complement existing practices and create consistency across the organization
• Oversee benefit and compensation plans to ensure cost efficiencies and attractiveness to retain top talent
• Ensuring employees follow all policies and procedures
• Suggesting changes in policies and procedures based on employee and company needs
• Researching compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits
• Creating recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws
• Supervising all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team
• Attending interdepartmental meetings with other managers
• Overseeing exit interviews and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in human resources or management
• Professional HR experience, ideally from a services oriented business, with a combination of corporate and business unit line experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
