SUMMARY

This position is responsible for all Human Resource activities and functions
throughout the corporation. Develops policy and directs and coordinates human resource activities, such as Employment, Compensation, Employee and Labor Relations, DBL/FMLA, Benefits Management, Training, Workers’ Compensation Disability Management by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE
FOLLOWING:

  • Analyze wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive
    compensation plan.
  • Prepare personnel forecast to project employment needs and interfaces with external employment services to insure the appropriate quality.
  • Writes directives advising department managers of company policy
    regarding equal opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits.
  • Ensure that all company policies comply with federal and state law.
    Develops and maintains a human resource system that meets top
    management information needs.
  • Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records
    required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
  • Oversees and implements State and Federal legislative mandates, writes and delivers presentations to corporate officers or government officials regarding Human Resources policies and practices.
  • Leads the development of company communications through the company news letter and other communication vehicles
  • Develops and organizes company functions to build employee morale and company loyalty.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for all Human Resource activities and functions
throughout the corporation. This requires the daily management of Human
Resource activities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

A bachelor’s degree is preferred and advanced education in Human Resource and/or related areas is also preferred. A minimum of 5 years of Human resource involvement is required.
