Munters is searching for a Human Resource Manager to lead the HR team in the Daleville VA location. We are looking for an inspiring leader who can drive process improvements locally and partner with business leadership on HR initiatives.
Job Summary:
Responsible for all aspects of Human Resources in the Daleville VA location, such as: recruitment and retention strategies, development of policies and procedures, employee training, compensation and benefits, internal communication, and employee relations.

Essential Functions:
- Operates as a trusted advisor by using professional credibility and strong relationships with senior leaders to influence key priorities.
- Annually updates compensation program, participating in salary surveys; rewrites job description as necessary; monitors performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
- Develops and maintains employee engagement and retention programs.
- Works with business leaders local to strategize the recruitment of all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees; writes and place job advertisements.
- Conducts new hire orientations, employee relations counseling and exit interviews.
- Establishes and maintains department records and reports
- Complies with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends, such as employee turnover, time to fill positions, and headcount reports.
- Coordinates training needs with internal and external vendors
- Design and deliver training to employees, such as Sexual Harassment Prevention, Recruitment & Selection, Delivering Performance Reviews, etc.

- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR and 5+ years’ experience or Master’s Degree and 3 years’ experience
- Experience leading successful projects by using strong communication and organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office Excel and Powerpoint
- Previous experience managing and building teams
- Ability to work on site a minimum of 3 days per week
- Ability to travel both domestic and international~5% of the time.
