The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for driving the implementation, administration, training, tracking and communication of all human resources policies and programs including performance management, employee relations and HR-related compliance. This position will work closely with all levels and various functions of the organization. This position report directly to our vice president of Human resources.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implements human resources programs by providing human resources services, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations, completing personnel transactions.
  • Serve as a daily point of contact for employees for inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and programs
  • Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information, recommending courses of action.
  • Completes special projects by clarifying project objective, setting timetables and schedules
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Participate in employee relations activity the HR Generalist will assist in management of investigations of employee relations cases, Code of Conduct violations, and make recommendations for resolutions and ensure appropriate documentation occurs.
  • The HR Generalist will participate with the implementation of HR related policies and procedures. This position will be responsible for ensuring effective communication of these policies to the organization. The position will also be responsible for ensuring all policies and procedures comply with current employment laws and practices.
  • Assists in processing personnel transactions including separations, promotions, leaves, transfers, reclassifications
  • Establishes and maintains records and files pertaining to employee/labor relations
  • Serves as a primary point of contact and liaison for employees with the Benefits and Payroll departments
  • Support and assist with on-site company events as needed, such as Open Enrollment
  • Process employee terminations, including coordinating final logistics, exit interviews, and separation paperwork, separation payouts

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of key policies, procedures, functions, and staff in the HR Department
  • Paychex knowledge preferred
  • Prior HR knowledge/experience in the combined areas of: Employee Relations, Benefits, Training, and Organizational Effectiveness.
  • Must be a strong user of MS Office, including Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience interfacing with all levels, from front-line staff to senior management
  • Effective Communication.
  • Responsiveness and Accountability

Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as an HR Generalist

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
