HR Administrator Coordinator Job at Labcorp
Job Summary:
As member of the HR community, this role provides administrative support to Vice President(s), Directors and Senior Leaders of a function with the highest degree of professionalism, confidentiality, organization and attention to detail. Provides services as requested that may span across a number of Centers of Excellence (COEs) in Human Resources. This includes coordination for training, supporting process improvement efforts in talent management, and supporting special projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides executive administrative support to Vice President(s), Directors and Senior Leaders of a function. This includes managing calendars, booking travel, completing expense reports, preparing documents, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Manages the paying of all invoices and audits the various financial reports to ensure correct accounting and budget expenditure for the COE. This includes monitoring and tracking various invoices, POs, and statements of work for all vendors used to deliver talent management services.
- Leads administrative activities related to programs, processes and special projects for COE. Coordinates invites, agendas and technology for staff meetings. Prepares presentations for various meetings.
- Provides training coordination support. This may include maintaining the course calendar, ordering and shipping materials, working with the various locations to ensure the facilities are prepared for the sessions, and assists with various other learning solutions.
- Interacts with other Executive Administrative staff throughout the company.
- Prepares materials that are visible to senior managers, including the CEO and Executive Committee.
- Supports other HR staff in their daily responsibilities as requested.
- Acts as a back up to Administrative staff to ensure seamless customer service during absences.
- Supports special requests as needed.

Travel Requirements: Yes
- 5.0% of the time for travel to support HR events or training needs.

II.Education/Qualifications:
Required:
- Associates Degree plus 5-8 years of high level administrative support experience for senior leadership. Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) degree preferred. Experience may be substituted for education.
- Requires unquestionable customer service skills, meticulousness, organizational skills, maintains confidentiality in all settings, and ability to be persistent while demonstrating tact.
- Advanced knowledge of HR administrative procedures, organization programs, policies and practices.
- Advanced knowledge of computer programs (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, HRIS, PeopleSoft).
- Requires ability to solve problems with minimal guidance.
- Ability to work and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced setting containing shifting requests and many interruptions.
- Must be flexible and willing to assist others as needed in a team environment.
III.Experience:
Required:
- 5 to 8 years of high level administrative support experience for senior leadership
- Worked in a large, global organization
IV.Working Conditions:
- Able to lift 30 lbs.
- Able to walk, stand or carry approximately 20% of the time.
- Able to sit at a computer for long periods of time
V.Special Factors:
- Some overtime and weekend work may be required
