The Hampton Inn Bridgeville is currently seeking a Part-Time Housekeeping Supervisor.

The Housekeeping Supervisor will assist the General Manager or the Executive Housekeeper in keeping the hotel in a clean and sanitary condition for the safety and security of the guest and staff members.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for clear and effective communication between housekeeping and other departments of the hotel.

2. Fill in for absent staff when necessary.

3. Order supplies as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.

4. Report maintenance issues to the Engineering Department when repair needs arise.

5. Focus on and assist housekeeping and laundry staff members to concentrate on all priority and VIP guests.

6. Create a courteous, friendly, professional work environment through open lines of communication.

7. Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation standards as set through company and brand standards.

8. Assign daily tasks to the housekeeping and laundry staff.

9. Ensure all guest rooms and back of the housework areas are cleaned and meet established cleanliness standards.

10. Inspect and maintain hotel rooms daily.

11. Ensure all staff offices are cleaned daily.

12. Ensure restrooms are sanitized, cleaned and stocked on a regular basis.

13. Maintain a regular deep cleaning program, a monthly planner consisting of one project per day.

14. Assist Executive Housekeeper in maintaining a monthly linen inventory and a weekly supply inventory.

15. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming and ensure all housekeeping and laundry staff members keep the same appearance and grooming standards.

16. Comply at all times with company and brand standards to ensure a safe and efficient hotel.

17. Communicate with the General Manager or the Executive Housekeeper on a regular basis.

18. Other duties as assigned.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned. Participate in hotel task forces and committees as requested.

Job Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required.

2. 1 - 3 years of prior Housekeeping Supervisor experience is required.

3. A demonstrated thorough knowledge of the housekeeping field is required.

4. Requires a demonstrated ability of supervisory and management skills.

5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

6. Ability to lift and move 50 lbs. without restriction.

7. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.

8. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and employees.

Must also be able to work weekends and holidays as business levels dictate.
