Penmac Staffing is recruiting Hotel Housekeepers for an Award Winning #1 Worldwide Hotel!
The housekeeping position requires high attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
Friendly guest interaction and teamwork is expected.
This position WILL include working weekends and holidays. Regular hours are 8:30am-5:00pm, with 2 days off during the week.
General Duties:
Ensure high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and throughout the hotel.
Respond to guest specific requests throughout shift and when cleaning specific rooms.
Change linens, make beds according to corporate standards, dust, polish, vacuum, and mop each guest room.
Display in-room items in a nice and organized manner.
Report maintenance issues immediately to supervisor.
Greet all guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
Stocking of carts, refilling of chemicals, and maintain organization in storage rooms.
Clean assigned guest rooms and assigned common areas .
Adhere to all sanitary and safety standards, including proper disposal of items, wearing of protective gloves, etc.
Ability to work well with others.
