Position available for a Full Time Housekeeper must be available to work Weekends.

Starting pay $17.00 per hour to $19.00 per hour

We are a 24/7 facility therefore one must be able to work weekends and holidays as required. All applicants are required to complete and pass a drug screening, physical exam with tuberculosis (TB) skin test, and criminal clearance through FBI and Department of Justice. The background search includes minor misdemeanors and DUIs.

Our dedicated team takes the health and safety of all of our employees and residents very seriously through the protocols we’ve implemented to prevent or reduce transmission of Covid-19. The Department of Public Health requires employees working in the Skilled Nursing Department to be fully vaccinated with booster however bona fide religious or medical exemptions are accepted (will be required to do Covid-19 testing twice a week.) If working in the Assisted Living Department and not fully vaccinated, you will need to be tested once weekly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• No experience needed - will train!
• Cleans residents apartments, rooms and balconies on a weekly basis or daily if in the health center while also replenishing supplies
• Follows infection control and safety guidelines.
• Gathers and disposes of trash, cleans floors, handrails, etc.
• Removes soiled linens, makes bed, and provides clean linens weekly for all residents in IL and AL. Housekeepers working in HC follow different protocol.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS :

• Work is moderate to heavy, involving lifting of objects
• Considerable walking, bending, reaching, and crouching.
• May be exposed to communicable diseases, and blood and body fluids that may contain HIV and/or HBV.
• May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and offensive odors.
