HOUSEKEEPER Job at Talbott Recovery
Responsibilities
Talbott Recovery Campus recently moved into a beautiful new building off Hunter Road not far from the Atlanta airport and need someone to help us keep it beautiful! Talbott Recovery Campus is currently hiring a full time housekeeper for our main campus location located in Atlanta near the airport. If you are hard working and experienced in housekeeping or maintainance, we would love to hear from you! This is a temporary position to start, filling in for maternity leave, but could become a full time, regular position. Hours are Mon - Fri, day shift
Qualifications
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, washer/dryer, etc.
Maintains facility in a sanitary and infection-free condition through washing, cleaning and replacing of equipment and furnishings.
Responsible for daily disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials.
Must handle various cleaning solvents and chemicals in accordance with established safety regulations.
Damp dusts furniture, light fixtures, window sills, etc.
Sweeps and wet mops floors in all rooms and bathrooms daily.
Damp mops all corridor floors, lobby, dining areas, and others daily. Cleans wash basins, mirrors, commodes, and all bathrooms daily.
Checks all unused offices and rooms daily to keep fresh.
Reports any needed repairs or equipment malfunction to supervisor immediately (such as leaky faucets or toilets, loose tile, broken window panes, missing nuts or screws, beds needing repair, etc.).
Cleans all air vents.
Checks entire area for spills, water, etc. periodically, especially in bathrooms.
Uses safety precautions in all housekeeping services.
Performs all other duties as required or assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to inspire client confidence in Talbott Staff and patient populations
Ability to consistently demonstrate through conduct and communications the stability required to effectively assist patients and their family members through the Talbott Model of treatment.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
Ability to pay continual attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
Must be flexible and highly adaptable to change.
Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required. 1 year of housekeeping/cleaning experience. Must have valid GA driver's license as some driving of company vehicles is required for this position
