We are seeking a Housekeeper Full Time to join our team! You will perform a variety of light cleaning and organizing duties.

Responsibilities:

• Clean guest rooms, hotel lobby, hallways, or other specified location
• Understand the company’s policy on work shifts, guest’s possessions and privacy issues
• Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, dusting and rearranging the room after guests check out
• Report, turn in and log all lost and found items
• Report cases of property damage to supervisor
• Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift
• Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift
• Interact with guests as needed, including dealing with reasonable requests and complaints with professionalism and patience.
• Maintain a positive relationship with employees and guests
• Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies
• Respond to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glass
• Collect and remove trash and debris
• Assist with laundry management, including washing, drying, and sorting linen
• Clean upholstered furniture
• Perform detailed deep cleans when required
• Move reasonably small furniture as necessary
• Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment

​Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• At least one year of experience with housekeeping preferred
• Excellent working knowledge of cleaning appliances and their operations and proper use of cleaning agents
• Attention to detail
• Physical strength and stamina to work extended periods
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Understands oral and written instructions
• Prioritizes work
• Learns and practices cleaning techniques and procedures
• Friendly guest interactions
• The ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Teamwork
• Working knowledge of the English language

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Morning shift
• No nights

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Post Falls, ID 83854: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Cleaning: 1 year (Preferred)
