Position Summary
The associate provides clerical and/or support duties to the AVP, Strategic Partnerships including routine office functions, scheduling, budget and data maintenance and tracking, processing and organization of department records and reporting and program support.
Description of Duties
- Verify, and maintain department information through the use of electronic media, software programs, and college information systems. (This includes but is not limited to completing e-requisitions, developing charts and spreadsheets, converting information to Power Point presentations, utilizing SharePoint, CRMs, etc.,).
- Reconcile invoices, process documents, prepare reports including program and budget summaries, and other data summaries as needed for supervisory review. Perform office support functions including the preparation of program materials, routine letters and emails, editing, proof reading and distribution of reports, etc.
- Plan and prepare for meetings, events, and programs. Provide functional support through attendance at meetings, events, and /or programs, as assigned. Provide follow-up as appropriate.
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service, maintain broad knowledge about the College, and provide support to the AVP, Strategic Partnership that may be of a confidential nature.
- Support departmental and program functions by serving as a liaison between department and appropriate College and community administrators.
- Maintain office operations, open, sort and distribute mail, maintain the AVP’s calendar, operate routine office machines and maintain appropriate files and records
- Answer telephones, resolve problems where possible and/or refer as appropriate.
- Perform other related duties as directed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Associates Degree or equivalent professional experience required.
Experience:
- Two years of related experience in higher ed with a proven ability to work effectively with students, faculty and administrators of varying ages and diverse backgrounds.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Proven computer literacy skills at an intermediate level with a willingness to learn specific and specialized programs essential to the learning process.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to develop working relationships with students and all staff constituents, while effectively communicating ideas and concepts effectively.
- Ability to travel locally preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.91 per hour

Experience:
- Fundraising: 1 year (Preferred)
