We are looking for a Full-Time Hotel Sales Coordinator that will not only assist the Director of Sales but also work as a part of our Front Desk Team. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who is looking to grow their career in sales. You will be provided with excellent mentorship directly from the Director of Sales to help expand and develop your sales & hotel knowledge.
The Hotel Sales Coordinator will assist the Director of Sales in all aspects of sourcing and servicing sales activity across all market segments, for the hotel.
Pay: $20.00 Per Hour
Responsibilities
- Sell and coordinate meetings, seminars and events for all market segments
- Prepares contracts and proposals, receives payment
- Types and files all correspondence for easy retrieval
- Responds to telephone inquiries regarding hotel availability; quoting established group rates
- Supports the Front Desk and makes reservations
- Provides weekly report to necessary departments about upcoming scheduled events needs
- Effectively communicates with all hotel departments on Event needs
- Manages Wedding Segment & Meeting Room Rental
Job Type: Full Time
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years hotel front desk experience or sales experience *preferred but not required*
- Excellent telephone communications skills
- Ability to meet one-on-one with individuals, such as brides or meeting room contact
- Strong organization skills and effective time management skills
