Hotel Maintenance Technician Job at Hilton Garden Inn Richmond Innsbrook
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician and are actively looking to meet the best and brightest talent that the hospitality industry has to offer. The successful candidate will be looking to increase their knowledge in hotel maintenance and upkeep. This candidate must be sharp, energetic, and detailed oriented with a distinctly hands-on management style.
Principle duties are as follows:
- Some prior experience as a Maintenance Tech in hotel, hospital, or apartment environment a plus, but we will train the right person
- Produce accurate logs, charts, and preventative maintenance forms
- General repairs experience with drywall, carpet, and tile helpful
- Ability to perform Preventive Maintenance Tasks
- Analytical approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work, communicate and maintain positive guest and colleague relations
- Strong attention to detail
- Multi-tasking
- Software including, but not limited to, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Effective written and verbal communication skills exercising patience, tact, and diplomacy
- Pre-employment background screening will be conducted.
