City Lines Bar and Grill is an American themed elevated casual restaurant with two full bars, a large dining area, and a private dining room. Our restaurant is, owned, operated, and managed by people who have spent their entire careers in the restaurant industry. We have seasonal food and cocktail menu changes to keep our guests excited about coming back again and again. We consider ourselves a family, and work together as one team. We are constantly trying to find new ways to improve the way we do business and keep up with the new trends in the industry to ensure a great place to work for our employees, and a great place to visit for our guests.

A Host/Hostess is one of the most important positions in a restaurant. You are not only the guests first, and last impression of our establishment; you are the "Air Traffic Controller" of the restaurant. With the guidance of our management team, you will gauge when and where to seat people, how long we need to go on waits, etc.

Responsibilities

*Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce waiter's name. *Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists *Manage reservations *Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas *Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress’s name *Greet customers upon their departure *Coordinate with management about available seating options *Maintain a clean reception area *Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly) *Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries *Assist wait staff as needed *Taking togo orders walk in and by phone

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Mondays. Compensation is $9.00 - $12.00/hour.
