Your primary tasks include:
- Greeting and seating guest, you will always greet with a smile.
- Managing the flow of seating in the restaurant.
- Knowing tables numbers as to better seat the restaurant.
- Answering phones and answering any and all guest questions
- Taking togo orders and handling the money for togo orders.
- Knowing how to communicate with our guests as well as with your coworkers.
- When necessary helping to sweep the patio and or being in charge of snow removal.
Your Secondary tasks will include*:
- These are only dont if there is no buster to aid you and all of your primary tasks are complete.
- Clearing tables of all plates, glassware, garbage, napkins and menus.
- Wiping down tables, benches and chairs after the area has been cleared of all debris.
- Sweeping the floor after the area has been wiped top to bottom (tables, benches and chairs).
- Putting away clean glassware and helping bring out glassware and plates from the dish pit.
- Asking Servers if they need assistance with anything, checking tables to see if you can help pre bus (this is when you clear a plate or two but not the whole table because the guests are still dining)
- Helping with laundry (we wash our own linens) and folding napkins
- Polishing and rolling silverware.
We require you to:
- Lift at least 40 lbs.
- Wear non slip kitchen shoes
- Work with a positive attitude.
- Use trays rather than bus tubs to clear tables, we will train you on how to handle a tray.
