JOB OVERVIEW:
Greeters are responsible for creating the first impression for the guest. These individuals have the ability to influence the guests overall restaurant experience. Greeters may be the final point of contact and have the ability to ensure guest satisfaction. Greeters must possess a friendly, informative and helpful manner. They must be prepared to answer all guest questions with accuracy
REPORTS TO: Restaurant Manager

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1.Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all policies/service procedures/standards.
2.Arrive to work on time, as scheduled, with all necessary equipment, supplies and properly attired (or Uniformed) to begin work according to company standards
3.Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy
4.Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
5.Confirm all reservations
6.Answer phoneand take reservations
7.Enter all reservations into Open Table Reservation System
8.Greet guests in a warm welcoming manner
9.Assist Maitre D seat guests
10.Keep podium area organized and clean
11.Ensure matches, mints and business cards are properly displayed
12.Knowledge of private dining information
13.Check on rest rooms frequently to ensure that they are always spotless and free of liter, as well as fully stocked, reporting any problems or poor conditions to the proper person
14.Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
15.Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
16.Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgments
17.Maintain knowledge of:
a)table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, proper table set-up and dress code of the Restaurant.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
1.Command of the English language
2.Professional appearance and attitude
3.1years experience in a high end restaurant
4.Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers
5.Ability to:
- understand and focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Essential:
1. Must be able to stay on feet for up to 8 hours throughout work shift.
2. Must be able to bend and stoop to the floor
