We have an excellent full-time opportunity for a Hospitalist Physician Assistant or APP

We are looking for a Hospitalist PA or APP to work 12-hour shifts (7p-7a) in Upstate NY. We have several locations available including Massena, NY., Lowville, NY., Gouverneur, NY., Alexandria Bay, NY. The hospitals offers a full range of medical specialties and advanced diagnostic capabilities. As a practicing provider with our group, you will enjoy a cohesive team atmosphere built on communication and cooperation.

What you will do:

• You will be responsible for in-patient care, rounding, admissions, discharges, and consults.
• You will assess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.
• You will document patient care services by charting in-patient and department records.
• Hospital supports a small detox unit, Suboxone training will need to be obtained
• Excellent clinical skills
• ACLS required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective organizational/time management skills
• Current license to practice medicine in New York State or willing to obtain
