Acute Home Healthcare, Inc a thriving 5-Star home healthcare agency, is immediately seeking a Qualified, Detail-Oriented, referral Coordinator to assist our team and manage each referral that comes in.

Our Home Healthcare Referral Coordinator primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Screening Cases for Wounds and IV's
• Entering Patients in the KanTime Database
• Obtaining Authorization for Homecare Services
• Verifying Insurance Eligibility
• Accepting Cases from Insurance Companies
• Verify via Medicare Portal for Any Open MSP's
• Request Home Health Orders from PCP's, Hospitals, and Specialists
• Confirm Patient's PCP's
• Assist Patient's with Any Questions, Comments, or Concerns
• Work Closely with Nurse Case Managers to Accept Cases
• Schedule Nurses, PTs, OTs, and Speech Therapists
• Schedule Home Health Aids and Social Workers
• Receive and Forward Faxes to Correct Departments
• Collect Co-Payments
• And More

Home Health referral Coordinator skills required

• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Outstanding Customer Service Skills
• Doctor Office Experience (Minimum 1 year)
• Must be Willing to Work Overtime
• Reasonable Healthcare Experience (2-3 years)
