The Home Health Administrator is responsible for the Home Health Program, including all medical services provided. This is performed in accordance with State and Federal regulation governing Home Care Agencies. This position provides coordination and supervision of Home Health staff, supports and creates positive environments through a personal commitment to the Company’s visions and values.

Responsibilities:
- Manages the business affairs and overall operation of the home health agency.
- Clinical or Non-Clinical Experience
- Supervising the Home Health Program for Nuclear Care Partners and manage regulatory, licensing and medical oversight requirements of the home health care.
- Supervising the Director, Home Health staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, monitoring, and performance coaching.
- Ongoing liaison with the Governing Body, staff members, and the community.
- Responsible for keeping the Governing Body informed of the conduct of the agency through regularly written reports.
- Develop and build community referral sources by engaging in active networking on an ongoing basis.
- Plan, participate, and evaluate outreach events with corporate involvement.
- Works closely with all staff to ensure patient and staffing needs are being met.
- Ensures the administrator or a designee is available at all hour’s employees are providing services at a minimum of any eight (8) hour period between 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Access on-line updates to comply with regulatory information and files reports as required by regulatory agencies.
- Staying informed of changes to regulations that may impact sources of funding; implementing appropriate changes; and training staff on new process.
- Participating in planning and problem solving as part of the corporate management team.
- Supporting and coaching nursing team and home health team as needed.
- Assists with writing policies and procedures as directed by corporate management, and assures staff knows how to access the policies.
- Ensuring that if personnel under hourly or per visit contacts are being used by the HHA there is a written specific contract between the HHA and the personnel.
- Ensuring that the clinical record and minutes of the case conferences establish an effective interchange, reporting, and coordination of patient care between all agency personnel caring for that patient does occur.
- Assist with and be accountable for agency budget.
- Coordinating agency services with other community health providers.
- Conducting an annual evaluation and maintaining documentation of reports and communications to the Executive Director and/or governing body.
- Directing investigations by the agency of complaints against the agency or agency personnel with corporate involvement.
- Reporting all suspected instances of abuse or neglect as defined by state law, to the appropriate state authority.
- Ensuring that all agency personnel, including volunteers authorized by the agency, provide services in accordance with agency policies and procedures. Family members and other volunteers not affiliated with the agency are exempt from this requirement.
- Implement quality improvement plans, process and activities.
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university
- Experience and education in health services administration; or equivalent combination of education and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, abilities for this position strongly preferred.
