PAY: The pay for this job is $0.50/mile for 1st shift, which averages $1,250/week. For 2nd shift, the pay is $.60/mile, which averages $1,400/week. There is also a $12.00 stop pay or city pay for any load that is less than 75 miles. Additionally, drivers will receive $150.00 per holiday.
Drivers who want to maximize their earnings can choose to stay out 1 or 2 days during the week, which will result in extra miles.
Schedule: The schedule is available for both 1st and 2nd shifts and runs Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday.
Freight/Route: The freight is no touch unload, drop & hook. Backhauls can be live load. Drivers can expect to get 400-450 miles with 2 to 4 stops per day, with stores being drop and hook. Deliveries are made within a 250-mile radius of Adairsville, GA.
Requirements: The minimum age for this job is at least 21 years old. Drivers must have at least 1 year of experience in the past 3 years or 2 years of experience in the past 5 years with comparable equipment (45 foot or longer). Local experience will count if the driver has been driving in the same states as the regional position.
