Essential Responsibilities
The High/Low Voltage Electrical Helper should be a team player willing to work with wires, harnesses, and other electrical components. An aptitude for electrical work with an eye for detail is a must.
Specific Responsibilities

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Diagnose and determine corrective action for electric power controlling equipment (etc. switch gear circuit breakers).
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Knowledge of electrical components related to automotive electrical as well as electrical safety codes and regulations.
• Solder when repairing electrical parts.

Required Qualifications

• Attention to detail.
• Competency with automotive electrical troubleshooting and repair techniques.
• Familiar with wide array of wiring and connectivity technologies and standards.
• Experience on working on or above 600V to 69 kV high voltage systems.
• Ability to work under pressure under strict deadlines.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of times.
• General Electrical knowledge is a plus.
• Strong positive attitude with a desire to learn.

Must be able to:

• Carry, pull and push up to 50 pounds of dead weight
• Climb up and down a ladder
• Sit, stand stoop, kneel, squat, crouch and or crawl
• Twist or turn in confined spaces
