The Marketing Manager for the HERSHEYPARK Entertainment Complex is responsible for managing the marketing, promotions, and public relations efforts for the HERSHEY BEARS Hockey Club.

Job Functions (Items marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this position):

• Develop the overall marketing and promotions for the HERSHEY BEARS*
• Manage the planning, preparation, and development of all media efforts for the HERSHEY BEARS*
• Ensure that media promotions are executed in all markets and mediums to maximize the media buy to its greatest effectiveness, and increase levels of public awareness of events and activities*
• Develop and expand the promotional efforts for the HERSHEY BEARS by working with Corporate Partnerships Department to leverage existing sponsorship relationships into Marketing partnerships*
• Partner and expand the retail promotional efforts for the HERSHEY BEARS*
• Oversee the planning and coordination of all on-site promotions and events*
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Industry Experience – Sales/Marketing/Public Relations
• Industry Experience – Hospitality/Tourism
• Industry Experience – Other
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication Proven ability reflecting initiative, motivation, organization, innovation and follow through
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including working on some weekends, nights and holidays Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions
• Bachelor’s degree – Marketing
