Job Title: HEOR Data Analyst - Clinical Project Manager
Pay: $60.00-$70.00/hr
Type: 12 Month Contract- may be potential to convert to FTE in future

We are seeking a Clinical Project Manager II for a very important client.
The individual will support Director and/or Associate Director of Oncology to ensure project plans integrate and align with the product strategic plans, lead tactical execution of studies, and communicate study findings to internal and external stakeholders. The manager helps to provide updates on execution of plans to products, development of product strategic plans, liaises with other members of the team to generate innovative ideas and create alignment on strategies. Conducting data analysis and research, presenting results to other stake holders in company and as well, external stake holders.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Supports the development of the strategic plans and studies to support patient access all within a highly matrixed, team environment. Leads execution of oncology projects through internal collaborations with centers of expertise (e.g., real-world evidence) or through external partners. Communicates study findings to internal matrix (e.g., medical affairs, market access) and external (e.g. payers, patient [advocacy groups]) audiences.
Core tasks will include developing and executing HEOR projects including writing RFP, vendor selection, and management including budget. Executes HEOR research using internal data sets including writing protocols and statistical analysis plans, leading protocol presentations at the protocol review committee, and executing research, and developing final reports or publications. The study projects will involve but not limited to prospective, retrospective analyses based on claims, EMR, chart review data, economic modeling, and patient reported outcomes assessment. Partners with internal stakeholders where applicable such as clinical development, medical affairs, market access, and others, to execute on evidence needs for the on market or in-development assets. Maintains awareness of regulatory legislation and assesses its impact on business and company product development programs.
Travel requirements: Could be up to 10% travel will be required…. Once everything opens. Travel to attend Congress’ and internal HEOR meetings, etc. Majority of travel would be presenting data at external Congress’. HEOR Congresses, present data to Oncology Congress’, etc.
In what type of environment is this person working: Lots of group interaction with individual contributions, collaborating with vendors and cross-functional teams. All evidence generated comes from and has to be agreed upon across many different teams. Collaborating with other teams and research organizations and vendors.
Special tools for data extrapolation: SAS are the standard for analysis, Tera data, Tableau, R Data, used to work/present Data.
Conducting the research, doing analysis, and then presenting to broader stakeholders both internally and externally are the three main things required of this position.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Requirements:
Possess both strategic and tactical skills in executing HEOR research. Experience in conducting HEOR research.
Years of experience/education and/or certifications required:
o PhD or MS in Health economics, Pharmacoeconomics, health services research, public health, or related field.
1. 3rd to last year of PhD, would be fine
2. Or, significant experience and Masters’ degree and Program analysis experience who has done research, using data analysis
o Prior experience in a pharmaceutical environment is preferred. 2-3 years of experience with real-world evidence generation is required
Top 3-5 skills requirements should this person have:
1. HEOR background and educational background as shown above
2. Well versed with HEOR concepts
3. Not only has HEOR education, but has done actual research and/or written papers
4. Someone who can do the analysis in house and conduct data analysis
5. Someone who is comfortable setting up cross-functional team meetings, collaboration and strong communication skills.
Nice to have (but not required) regarding skills, requirements, experience, education, or certification:
o Pharma experience with PhD
o Someone who is trained in the field and is able to do the analysis
Looking for someone with 2-3 years of working with data and effectively communicating real world evidence to those not always fluent with this type of data, so someone who can communicate this effectively.
Lots of cross-functional work across various teams. This would be manager level so have to be comfortable speaking with stake holders, individually as well as through presentations and in a team/group environment.
If person is toward end of PhD program, this is HEOR specific so Health Services, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, real world evidence would be needed with Biostatistics as they generally do not have this.
Must have real-world evidence. Interest in growing within HEOR, as there is a slight possibility of FTE opportunities at Abbvie down the road, nothing specific right now, but may be possible.
Oncology experience and/or Pharma experience is not required but would be nice to have.
Excel is also used and must be comfortable with using it for presentation of data etc.
HEOR experience – is this a must have? Slightly related to earlier comment of mostly a must have. Real World Evidence, Bio-Stats with real world experience would be considered.
