AIS Construction Equipment is the oldest Michigan owned and operated heavy equipment company in the state and has been serving customers for over 60 years. We are looking for a full-time Sales Representative for our Used Sales Department in Lansing. This position is an entry-level position that will consist of equipment sales as well as duties in the lot such as inventory photos, equipment relocating, etc. If you are a positive, energetic, and motivated go-getter who is willing to learn the industry and grow with us, we would love to talk to you!

Responsibilities

  • Assist Sales Manager with customer consultations
  • Assist Sales Manager with sales of pre-owned equipment
  • Assist with product demonstrations, installations, and application support
  • Coordinate with all internal departments to ensure complete customer satisfaction
  • Excellent customer satisfaction skills and the ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
  • Work closely with the service department to find a solution to customer complaint issues
  • Assist customers on financing of purchases
  • Move machines around Used Sales lot as needed
  • Manage the Used Sales online inventory catalog (take inventory photos, post equipment details online, etc.)
  • Continue professional and technical growth by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Driver's license with a good driving record
  • Preferred: Knowledge of heavy construction equipment and/or experience in sales
  • High energy and positive individual
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Tenacity and willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done
  • Ability to build strong, lasting relationships of mutual understanding and trust
  • A strong sense of urgency to provide exceptional customer service and satisfaction
  • Able to pass a background screening and drug test

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
