Seeking Mechanics for the following positions . Pay rate DOE. Must have own basic tool set.

• Heavy Equipment (Field)- Performs maintenance and repairs on construction equipment on the job site.
• Heavy Equipment (Shop)- Performs maintenance and repairs on constrction equipment and heavy highway trucks in the shop.
• Automotive- Performs maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles
• Mobile Heavy Equipment Lube Tech- Performs scheduled preventative maintenance on construction equipment on the job site.

Position will work Monday - Saturday, with overtime available.

Example of Job Duties:

Performs prescribed repairs to diesel and gasoline powered equipment and vehicles. Performs prescribed maintenance checks related to equipment and vehicles.

This class fabricates and/or welds items needed to maintain buildings, equipment, and vehicles; may provide services related to the procurement of vendor products, and may move vehicles and equipment from and to shop. May perform diagnostic evaluations of equipment and vehicles. Researches supplies and procurement opportunities for items required to ensure effective and efficient repairs and operations. Evaluates and prioritizes work orders; determines appropriate repairs; reviews and completes associated paperwork and work orders. Responds to emergency calls for services; may transport equipment and vehicles.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• One year or more of specialized or technical training beyond high school and three years or more of experience in fleet maintenance positions working with automotive repair, welding, fabricating, etc.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance or repair or equivalent combination of skills listed above
• Have and maintain Valid Commercial Driver's License CDL A or CDL B and experience with Heavy Equipment
• Must be physically capable of lifting in excess of 50 to 100 lbs and working in all weather conditions with no restrictions
• Must pass pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift

• Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Required)
