JOB SUMMARY:
Incumbent is required to identify needs and set up programs accordingly under the Rescue Act funding guidelines.
Provides safety management and training to employees to achieve awareness and preventive procedures; safety
monitoring and assessing of unsafe situations and develops incident action plans to correct issues; safety reporting to
maintain accurate data for tribal workplace and tribal population; and engage staff and ensure safe work practices.
Goal: Keeps current on arising health and safety issues to maintain overall health, safety and welfare of the tribal
employees and the community.
Reports To: Chief Administrator for the Covid-19 Response Program
HOW TO QUALIFY FOR THE JOB:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety is preferred AND/OR a minimum of three (3) years of qualified
work experience in this field.
Experience:
Copy of Indian Preference form 5-4432 OR valid federally-recognized Tribal I.D.
