1-800-GOT-JUNK? Manhattan is seeking a Head Trainer to join our growing team in the NYC region. This position will be responsible for actively managing all aspects of Truck Team Members onboarding, training and professional development.
Description:
Reporting directly to the Managing Partner you will own all aspects of the training and development of our front line teams. Whether it’s setting up new team members for success or coaching tenured employees to develop new skills. The impact of your work will directly improve TTM conversion (as measured by residential cancellation metrics), drive the standardization of brand excellence and customer experience.
Skills and Requirements
The ability to work independently and within a team.
Strong communication skills including public speaking is a must.
Proactive, strategic thinker with strong attention to detail.
Exceptional enthusiasm, professionalism, and follow-through is a must.
Management experience is an asset.
Core Responsibilities
Daily Huddle; partnering with Operations, daily, to set up our teams for success for the day.
Run In-Classroom training for new hires.
Run Trainer-the-Trainer modules for Certified Truck Team Members
Monitor and report on efficacy of On-The-Truck training for new hires
Introduce new training modules based on the evolving needs of individuals and the business.
Perform On-The-Job shadowing to evaluate performance
Partner with People & Culture Manager to assess individual performance monthly
Organize small group re-training and role playing as needed.
