Position: Facility Cook | Footprints to Recovery, CO | Full- Time Day shift 7:30am-4pm or 8:30am-5pm specific work days and times open to discussion.

Job Functions:

• The Facility Cook is primarily responsible for the processes related to the nutritional needs of the patients.
• The Facility Cook completes menu planning, grocery shopping, stocking and preparing meals, cleanup, and maintenance of kitchen resources.
• The Facility Cook monitors the budget management of groceries and supplies.
• The Facility Cook creates customized nutritional planning for patients with unique dietary requirements.
• The Facility Cook has a high standard of food design, preparation, and service in accordance with the wishes of the supervisor.

Qualification Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • 3 years of experience in the direct preparation of meals in a healthcare environment.
• Food handlers and preparation health cards are required.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret human service periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, and business correspondence, and analyze policies and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Electronic Health Records; Internet software; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.
