Head Cook Job at Community Connection Baker

This is a full-time position, paying up to $20.33 per hour, including a highly competitive benefit package.
Examples of Job Duties include:
- Participate in, as well as supervise nutrition staff and volunteers in, the preparation and serving of meals which meet required dietary standards at the Baker County Senior Center, Meals on Wheels, and local catered events.
- The Head Cook will ensure that the kitchen, kitchen equipment, plates and serving utensils, and dining area are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.
- Train and ensure that all nutrition staff and volunteers follow appropriate procedures when preparing, serving, and storing foods, and when cleaning up after meal service.
- The Head Cook will be responsible for planning the menu and preparation and serving of meals for catered events.
- Order foods and necessary items and maintain daily inventory of items used.
Must pass pre-employment drug test and criminal history background check.
