Summary
This position is responsible for accurate application and distribution of Labels and Reference Material into/onto vehicles and utilizing HADS (Hyundai Automotive Diagnostic System) to run Vehicle Diagnostic Tests on the VPC Line.
Responsibilities
- Distribute reference material into vehicles
- Identify and gather correct reference materials - manuals, quick reference guides, multimedia guides, tag screws, corresponding hang-tags, etc.
- Place materials in appropriate locations of each vehicle
- Apply labels on vehicles
- Verify that B-pillar VIN and barcode match
- Identify and gather correct labels - Roadside Assistance, Sirius, Load Capacity, etc.
- Apply labels to the appropriate locations on vehicles
- Run diagnostic tests
- Scan vehicle barcode and plug cable into OBD in order to run diagnostic test
- Place diagnostic test result/receipt in unit
- Under hood inspection
- To be done while HADS check is running
- Check fluid levels
- Remove all under hood plastic and check engine area for damages or defects
- Other duties as assigned
- Participate in daily startup meetings
- Participate in Safety meetings
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow all company policies and procedures
- If needed, team member fulfills various other roles within the VPC department, such as, driving, battery testing, installing accessories, etc.

- Ability to use scanners and diagnostic tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be able to handle simple issues drawing from past experiences
- Detail oriented and safety conscious
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays
- Versatile, flexible, and willing to work within changing priorities
- Must be able to work well with others
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- Associates Degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 year experience preferred
- Knowledge of vehicles, processes, and procedures training preferred
- Must hold a valid Class C Driver's License
