Group Sales Manager
Wintergreen Hospitality is looking for an experienced and thoughtful Group Sales Manager for the Hilton Garden Inn in Fairfax, Virginia.

The Responsibility:
This role plays in an integral part in setting up the hotel for success, sometimes months and years in advance. This sales professional is dedicated to generating leads, closing on sales opportunities, and collecting details for visiting groups.
The Group Sales Manager is the main contact for our group clients from start to finish. Building and maintaining a thriving relationship with our group contacts and their guests is the #1 goal.
What you might be expected to do on any given day:
- Reach out directly to clients to see how we can provide services for their group(s)
- Field incoming group leads for room blocks, events, etc.
- Create event orders and resumes for groups coming into the hotel to ensure a successful stay or event
- Assist GM with special projects related to generating business for the hotel
- Communicate directly with other team members in person, over email or by phone regarding group needs
Measures of Success:
- Group clients are raving about their experience with you and our hotel team
- Impactful revenue is generated monthly through group sales
- Win new business while competitively recapturing potential returning groups
- Other departments at the hotel are knowledgeable about the groups visiting the hotel
Wage:
$45K-50K/Year Starting Wage
