General Responsibilities
: Under the direction of the Director, the Group Leader is responsible for the daily supervision and safety of a group of children with neuro-diverse needs. They will provide direction to the youth workers in planning age-appropriate activities which address the level of functioning in the group. The Group Leader is the direct link, communicant, and helping person for the group, staff, and particularly the children.

Specific Duties:

1. The Group Leader is responsible to take leadership of the management of the group room.

2. The Group Leader is responsible for developing individualized, age-appropriate treatment plans for each child and maintaining monthly progress notes that meet regulatory compliance

3. The Group Leader will ensure that the daily schedule of activities are implemented.

4. The Group Leader will ensure that youth workers are engaged with the children at all times.

5. The Group Leader will record daily attendance of children and submit accurate and completed Medicaid billing sheets to the Director within designated time periods

6. The Group Leader will provide individualized therapeutic interventions as needed
7. The Group leader will communicate any unusual behavior or physical concerns to to the Program Manager
8. The Group Leader will communicate with the Director and Assistant Director all changes in behaviors, or physical conditions of the children.

9. The Group Leaders will meet regularly with the staff in their room to provide direction and support in program operations.

10: The Group Leader is responsible to inventory supplies and equipment necessary for planned programming

11. The Group Leader will foster accountability and responsibility for the health and safety of children and staff in their room.

12. The Group Leader will serve as a role model to staff and children.

Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. BA in related field Must have experience working with children with neurodiverse needs

Monday- Friday 2:00 PM -6:00 PM Salary range $16.50 - $19.00
