Maple Farm Nursing Center, part of Garden Spot Communities, is currently seeking a Seasonal Groundskeeper for the spring & summer months that include working 40 hours per week!
Maple Farm Nursing Center offers an innovative model of short and long term skilled nursing within two warm and welcoming households situated on 66 acres in Akron, PA.
The Seasonal Groundskeeper will work with our Environmental Services team.

What will I do in this role with Maple Farm Nursing?
As a Seasonal Groundskeeper, supporting the Garden Spot Communities' mission will include the following responsibilities:
- Mows all turf areas. Plants trees, shrubs, flowers, bulbs, and seed turf.
- Sprays herbicides and pesticides on turf and bed areas under direct supervision of the supervisor.
- Assists in other areas of maintenance as needed.
What do I need for this role with Maple Farm Nursing?
- Treats all clients, family members, and peers with dignity and respect.
- Possesses basic mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Possesses the ability to exercise good judgement, work independently, follow directions, and cooperates well with others.
- Maple Farm only: Possesses a familiarity with and an ability to operate all grounds equipment.
