Grayson/Fannin County Caregiver Job at Embark Care
Embark Care is looking to hire experienced caregivers immediately, for a FULL TIME week day shift work schedule in Bonham/Sherman You MUST have previous verifiable experience, and reliable transportation with current insurance. Paid travel time between clients. Fill in shifts and other permanent assignments available near by.
Pay is semi monthly on 5th and 20th. Direct Deposit. Benefits available upon hire (some restrictions apply). Referral incentives. Over Time.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assists with personal care (which can include bathing, dressing, incontinent care, ambulation, and transfers, etc.)
2. Provides companionship for client.
3. Performs basic daily duties of running the household: light housekeeping, shopping, meal preparation, laundry, etc.
4. Observes the client for general physical, emotional, and mental conditions, and reports all changes in condition to case manager.
5. Keeps appropriate records of all activity while in the client’s home.
6. Provides a sense of security for the client and protects them as much as possible, from any harm resulting from the debilitating effects of his/her illness.
7. Communicates availability for work to the Case Manager.
Limitations: 1) May not administer medications. 2) May not perform procedures or skills requiring the knowledge, training, or skills of a licensed nurse.
