Your Specific Responsibilities:
This is a highly responsible work conducting financial operations including the administration, coordination, development, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) grant. The work requires applying extensive knowledge of business practices and procedures working from general instructions to adapt and apply knowledge in a variety of complex situations, and in recommending solutions to problems of a specialized or general nature. This position is under the direct supervision of the Operations and MGMT Consultant Manager - SES. This is a sensitive position requiring fingerprinting and background screening. Adheres to Information Security Policies & Procedures and is a Key Custodian for assigned areas. Travel is required.
Grants:
Serves as compliance officer for FQHC grant.
Assists with all site visit preparations.
Assists with ensuring board management, meetings, travel and trainings.
Understands regulations and policies for grant administration. Submits Notices of Intent per DOH policy.
Monitor and evaluate FQHC grant.
Work with team to assure state and federal compliance of grant.
Predicts and tracks clinic productivity related to grant services.
Responsible for compiling data for reporting, submit monthly, quarterly, annual reports.
Responsible for completing annual cost base reimbursement report.
Communicates with HRSA to administer grant.
Responsible for Electronic Handbook monitoring, data entry, and maintenance.
Attends FQHC board meetings and makes presentations on grant progress/status as requested by CEO and/or CFO.
QI/QA:
Monitors FQHC service-related contracts for compliance.
Actively participates with QI/QA reviews.
Assures grant compliance with QI/QA requirements.
Communicates verbally and in writing review results.
Serves on the Quality Committee. Will actively participate in team building and supporting the mission, vision, core values, and goals of FDOH Walton County Health Department. Will participate with other teams as requested and/or desired such as Strategic Planning, Performance Management, and Special Projects etc. to support the organization. Attends staff/department meetings as scheduled. Completes time sheet and enters EAR data per DOH policies and procedures. Assigned purchasing card responsibilities and adheres to purchasing card policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned, including reporting to a shelter in time of disaster.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
- Ability to manage one's own time and the time of others.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Health Management Clinic System, Federal UDS System
- Knowledge of FQHC grants and understanding of implementation and application.
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of one year previous experience workingon grant submissions and/or compliance must be demostrated through previous work experience or as an area of educational study in order to be considered as a candidate for this requisition.
