Primary Responsibilities
- Review and summarize federal regulations and grant requirements, including Federal Register Notices and HUD guidance.
- Monitor federal grantees and subrecipient activity for federal compliance.
- Conduct research and analysis for clients, stakeholders, and the general public.
- Support the development of client facing documents, such as policies and procedures, checklists, forms, workflows, administrative manuals, and written technical assistance materials.
- Prepare and format reports, memorandums, and other written communications to clients as directed by Project Managers.
- Provide support in preparation for meetings, workshops, and presentations.
- Capture and compile notes from internal meetings and meetings with clients.
- Support Project Managers as needed in the delivery of services to clients.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree and one year of experience in the area of fiscal oversight, preferably within the public sector.
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized and able to manage multiple task assignments.
