Full Job Description

Our Estimators / Project Management team provides accurate job cost estimates used for each bid and turn those bids into on time, in budget projects. Strong computer and communication skills as well as the ability to work independently or with others are essential to being successful in this role.

Job Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Preparing estimates and communicating with contractors.
• Store Front
• Maintaining in-depth knowledge of the specifications and requirements for specific jobs.
• Contacting vendors for current pricing.
• Tracking change orders for ongoing projects.
• Managing projects from start to finish.

Requirements/ Qualifications:

• 2 years minimum experience in the glass industry.
• Strong organizational skills.
• A very high level of detail along with the ability to multitask.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily management of construction projects from start to finish.
• Develop and provide submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, Modifications to General Contractor/ Owner on construction projects.
• Serve as a link with General Contractor/ Owner on daily tasks and duties required for the project.
• Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting and identification of resources needed.
• Ensure projects are being executed within budget.
• Work with project superintendent to ensure that construction activities move according to schedule.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by company executives.
• Ensure contract compliance.

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

• Basic knowledge of construction management and the commercial building process.
• Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.
• Intermediate knowledge of construction financial programs and software.
• Two (2) years of estimating / project management experience in the glass industry.
• Associates or Bachlors degree in Construction Management Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to plan and organize.
• Good client management ability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
