WHAT WE WILL ASK YOU TO DO:

• Assemble mechanical assemblies working from prints, written procedures and verbal instruction.
• Perform tests to detect and diagnose malfunctioning devices.
• Maintain production standard rates while meeting required quality expectations.
• Communicate with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintain a safe, organized and clean work environment.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.
• Perform packaging procedures to prepare parts for shipment.
• Perform inspection of products and documents results.
• Analyze processes and provide solutions to problems.
• Complete and maintain paperwork required.
• Assist in other work areas as needed.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Good at communicating with co-workers.
• Work hard to meet individual production quotas.
• Understand the importance of making a quality product.
• Ability to visually inspect small parts to ensure part is made to specifications. Should have normal or corrected 20/20 vision.
• Experience in a production environment a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THIS POSITION:

• Climate controlled work environment.
• Use of hand tools, power tools or special equipment.
• May be required to work on your feet for 10 – 12 hours.
• Need to be able to lift up to 30 lbs. with or without accommodation.
