Job Title: Helper II Grade: LG 2
Department: Manufacturing-Operations Reports Directly To: Manufacturing Supervisor
Job Summary: To assemble finished product using sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners, and pack in designated carton according to customer specification sheet and company policies.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Read and understand a blue print and route sheet
  • Do the steps required on the paper line to assemble the media pack (cut off media, glue, v-jig, or channel and stuff media assembly into the liner).
  • Inspect elements for flaws and apply the appropriate decals and washers for packaging
  • Fold pads and put them into boxes.
  • Put the finished elements into the box, close the flaps and sent it through the pack machine.
  • Supply sleeves and covers to the line as needed
  • Gasket rework
  • Run a small variety of small hand tools (glue guns, staplers, knives, guillotines and paper saws).
  • Report labor, production, scrap and other information into Oracle when required
  • Do return to stocks and labels in certain areas.
  • Wearing proper safety equipment (PPE)
  • Organize work area for orderliness at all times.
  • Sweeping, dusting and cleaning where applicable.
  • May be assigned preventative maintenance as needed.
  • Rotation on line for ergonomic reasons.
  • Flexibility to move from line to line as needed.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Successful completion of probation period at beginning of employment.
