**This is a per diem / as needed position that may require talent to travel for assignments as availability permits. Travel and accommodations are arranged by Mobile Health as needed. Assignments may increase in frequency as time goes on. **

**There is no set schedule for this project. **

Overview

The General Medical Technician performs clinical, non-clinical, and administrative tasks as they relate to occupational and primary care services. Med Techs will be trained on various medical services that may be performed by clinicians or non-clinicians. Once trained and onboarded, Med Techs will be presented with opportunities for assignments, which will often require travel, with approved expenses covered by Mobile Health.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Depending on the needs of the assignment, responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

General Procedures and Expectations

  • Med Techs will be trained on medical services including, but no limited to:
    • Respirator fit testing
    • Specimen collection
    • Hearing and vision screening
  • Registration and data entry of patient information
  • Ensure the patient flow is moving in an efficient manner
  • Receive and convey messages in writing, verbally, and electronically
  • Interact with clinicians, other team members in a courteous and professional manner
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all Personal Health Information as dictated by HIPAA laws
  • Represent Mobile Health with a professional demeanor, with a willingness to adapt to challenges as needed
  • Any other administrative duties as directed by Management

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with computers
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as a part of a team
    • Establish trust to execute duties without direct onsite supervision
    • Adheres closely to instructions and guidance
    • Attention to detail
    • Follow instruction/responsive to guidance
    • Take initiative / flexible
  • Not required but desirable attributes:
    • Medical credentials or currently pursuing a degree in medical-related field
    • Bilingual
    • Phlebotomist

Hourly Rate: $30 per hour
