General Manager Job at Courtyard by Marriott
The Courtyard by Marriott Norwich CT has an immediate opening for a Hotel General Manager. This is 120 room hotel with expansive meeting space, lobby bistro and shuttle service to the nearby casino.
The GM oversees all operational aspects of the property, including hotel facility and grounds oversight, hotel operations, employee staffing & development, guest satisfaction, revenue management, sales & marketing, and other administration needs.
The General Manager reports to the Regional Vice President. The right candidate will be able to enhance employee performance, foster hospitality and sales, and watch the bottom line.

Job Requirements:
Two (2) Years Hotel Management Experience
Experience Managing a Similar Hotel in a Similar Market Preferred
Local Knowledge of Market a Plus
Hospitality Sales Background a Plus
Marriott Background a Plus
Passion to provide exemplary guest service
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Valid driver's license
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Proficiency with basic computer (PC) and office technology
Degree in Hotel or Hospitality Management a Plus
CHA or other Hotel/ Hospitality certification a Plus
