General Assembly - Hull Assembler 2nd Shift Job at AlumaCraft
IMMEDIATE OPENINGS TO JOIN THE BRP ALUMACRAFT TEAM!
We are seeking hard working, dedicated individuals to join our 2nd Shift Hull Assembly team.
2nd shift 5:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. Mon - Thurs, some overtime on Fridays
Pay Rate : $23.00- $23.69 DOE Plus $1.50 Shift Differential
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Riveting various component parts to boats using a pneumatic hammer.
- Installing interior boat components such as brackets etc., carpeting, gluing, sawing, filing, glue gun usage, stapling, vacuuming, and foaming gun use.
- Select and prepare components for boats, inspect quality of material prior to and following installation using tape measure, jigs, and gauges to ensure proper fit and alignment of interior boat components.
- Inserting die corresponding to size of rivet head in hammer.
- Dressing triggers to pound and shape head on rivet shank.
- Drilling holes using air drills.
- Helps to physically move boats from station to station.
- May clean or align holes and make adjustments to fit parts.
- Able to work at different stations to meet production needs.

Essential Qualifications:
- Prompt and reliable attendance so we can meet our customer needs.
- Ability to stand and work in various positions for several hours. The work is done on concrete and in boats.
- Ability to see and read complicated instructions.
- Must be a team player working with co-workers, other departments and/or other facilities.
- Must be accurate and detail oriented.
- Must work at a reasonable pace and within our quality and production standards to ensure timely completion of tasks and must work overtime as required to meet customer needs.
