GA Pre-K Assistant Teacher Job at Early Childhood Center
We are looking for a Georgia Pre-K Assistant Teacher for our Georgia Pre-K program in the Dalton area. All candidates must hold a valid CDA, TCC or higher in early child hood or child development to be considered.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Supervision -- Keep all children in sight at all times and use Student Transition Sheets properly.
- Health and Safety -- Be aware of your surroundings and report or correct unsafe conditions if you find them. Keep rooms clean and organized.
- Positive Guidance -- Use only positive guidance strategies to instruct children.
- Licensing -- Practice compliance with state licensing and accreditation regulations.
- Teaching -- Implement age appropriate curriculum in a way that meets each child's unique learning style.
- Care -- Meet the physical and emotional needs of each child and provide an atmosphere that makes children and families feel valued.
Qualifications:
- CDA or higher in Early Childhood or Child Development or related field.
- Speak, read, and write English fluently.
- CPR and 1st Aid Certifications (or willingness to obtain these).
- Must maintain state in-service training requirements and GA PreK training requirements.
