FX Client Service Analyst: Charlotte, NC Job at Bank of America
Job Description:
Main point of contact for globally based Clients for FX currency wire related queries within BAML. Candidate must be comfortable speaking to our Clients and other internal BAML departments. Up to date market knowledge on key initiatives and developments within the Foreign Exchange space are essential. Directly interacting with Clients on a daily basis, you will be the main point of contact for clients on all investigations and will act as Client advocate within BAML to ensure all client needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Take inbound calls from clients and internal associates
- Investigate FX currency wires sent from consumer BAML accounts
- Create new investigation cases for non-receipt of funds, recalls, amendment requests, and rate disputes
- Research pending incoming wires for our clients and provide incoming wire requirements
- Liaising with other internal departments to ensure timely resolution of investigations
- Partner with front office teams and payment processing team to ensure rate disputes are executed properly
- Assist clients with wires being held for compliance reasons and direct queries to correct OFAC team
Requirements
- Presentable, confident and client focused. Client facing experience or ability to conduct discussions with Clients in a confident manner
- Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work under pressure in a team environment
- Ability to liaise with all levels of the firm and people with different experiences and backgrounds
- Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised. Candidate will be able to manage own time and know when to escalate
- Previous experience within a client service team with particular focus on Foreign Exchange
